Volunteer Opportunity: Dreama & UNICEF Forum

Dear Students,

We are pleased to share a volunteer opportunity with the Orphan Care Center (Dreama) for an upcoming forum organized in collaboration with UNICEF.

Volunteer Opportunity: Alternative Care & Sustainable Wellbeing Forum

The Orphan Care Center (Dreama), in collaboration with UNICEF, is organizing the Forum on Alternative Care and Sustainable Wellbeing for Children Deprived of Family Care. The forum will bring together government and non-government organizations, experts, researchers, and professionals to exchange knowledge and explore promising practices that strengthen child wellbeing and safe, supportive family-based care.

Dreama is seeking 12 HBKU student volunteers to support the forum over two days.

Dates: 30 September–1 October 2026
Time: 8:00 AM–1:30 PM
Location: Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC), Auditorium 1
Organized by: Dreama, in collaboration with UNICEF

Who Should Volunteer?

Students interested in volunteerism, community service, social development, child wellbeing, and supporting major international forums are encouraged to apply.

• Have a good command of English and Arabic
• Have previous experience participating in or volunteering at events, conferences, or forums
• Are available during the morning hours on both days
• Are committed, professional, and comfortable assisting in a large-scale forum environment

Selected volunteers will receive guidance and training from Dreama prior to the forum to prepare them for their roles.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on volunteering experience while contributing to an important forum focused on the wellbeing and care of children.
